Creating optimal health is all about healthy choices. The problem is making healthy choices can be incredibly difficult with all the media hype about certain food being good or bad for you and then to be told “sorry we got it wrong – it is in fact the complete opposite of what we told you.” Creating optimal health is about doing your own research. Looking into the science of the information you read and most of all not believing everything the government or food manufacturers tell you without checking it out for yourself. 5. Make Sure You Eat Plenty of Healthy Fat  

There has been so much bad publicity over the years about fat being bad for you, however Omega 3 fat is essential for the prevention of heart disease, cancer and many other diseases. Omega 3 fats are found naturally in fish and seafood.

4. Eat a Healthy Diet That’s Right for Your Nutritional Type

I am sure you have heard the saying “one man’s meat is another man’s poison”. What you may not realize is that our nutritional needs can be vastly different from person to person and eating the wrong foods for your nutritional type can be the cause of disease and illness.
